
Hurricane and Storm Evacuation
Policy
No refunds will be given unless:
·
The
National Weather Service orders mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical
Storm/Hurricane Warning" area: and/or
·
A
mandatory evacuation order has been given for the "Tropical
Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest the day
that the National Weather Service orders a mandatory evacuation order in a
Tropical/Hurricane Warning area, we will refund:
§
Any
unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered.
§
Any
unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive during that
time.
§
Any
advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation where the
guest is scheduled to arrive during the mandatory evacuation.
Terminating
Rental:Shannon McCoy
reserves the right to refuse or discontinue tenancy if, in his opinion, the
guest is detrimental to the property.
Damages: Guests will be responsible for any damages
or theft. Please report any damage at check-in or upon occurrence. Our housekeeper
walks through each unit after check-out to ensure property is left in good
order.
Maintenance: Although we cannot guarantee the operation
of all appliances, we make every effort to keep the equipment and appliances in
working order. Agents, authorized employees or repairmen may enter the premises
during business hours for purposes connected with repair, care or maintenance
of the condo. We will do our best to have any malfunction repaired quickly.
THERE CAN BE NEITHER A DISCOUNT GIVEN NOR REFUND MADE BASED UPON
EQUIPMENT OR APPLIANCE FAILURE.
Early
Departure: Early
termination of a rental period by the guest does not supercede the original
reservation agreement.
Indemnification: Guests agree to indemnify and save individual
homeowners, Shannon McCoy and his employees, free and harmless for any
liabilities or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from, related to, or in
any connection with the rental of the premises, including but not limited to,
any claim or liability of personal injury or damage or loss of property which
is incurred or sustained by a guest or guests of guest. Shannon McCoy is not
responsible for items left behind but will make every effort to locate and
return to you.
Housekeeping: Your unit will be equipped with bed
linens, towels and bath and kitchen amenities. Our housekeepers will clean
after you check out. We do not provide any additional cleaning services during
your rental period.
RESERVATION
POLICIES
Tentative
Reservations: You can
make tentative reservations at any time within 1 year prior to your arrival
date using a personal check with 1/2 rental fee as a deposit.
Cancellation
Policy: In case of a
cancellation 45 days or more prior to arrival for a weekly rental a $50.00
cancellation fee will be charged. If the cancellation occurs within 45 days
prior to arrival and the unit is re-rented for the cancelled period, your
deposit (less the $50.00 cancellation fee) will be returned. If the unit is not
re-rented, we will be unable to refund your advance rental deposit. If your
rental deposit is retained we will apply your deposit as credit towards a
rental at a future date (depending on availability)
Check-In/Check-Out
Times: To guarantee
our guests a clean unit and avoid delays, we ask that all guests abide by our
Check-In Time of 4:00 pm EST and Check-Out Time of 11:00 am EST We
CANNOT guarantee early check-in or late check-out requests.
Parties: No house parties are allowed in the condo.
We reserve the right to terminate occupancy without refund should this occur.
Please no fireworks. Fireworks are illegal in the state of Georgia.
Long
Distance Phone Calls:
The condo has a block on long distance phone calls. Please bring your cell
phone or a calling card for long distance calls. Local calls are free. Internet
access is available through dial-up. Savannah, GA is a local call.
Smoking: The condo is a smoke-free property.
Although, smoking is permitted on the decks.
Trash
pick-up: City of Tybee
provides trash pick up. Please note the date of pick-up for your property and
take trash to street on that day. Date of pick-up will be provided in your
property.
Maximum Occupancy: The maximum number of guests allowed is 8.
Some Simple Rules:
In an
effort to keep the condo as clean as possible for all our guests, we cannot
allow pets, and please, no smoking in the house.
We are
going to focus on renting to families on vacation. We will not rent to students
or to anyone under the age of 25.
Check in
is after 4:00 p.m. It is important that the cleaning team have plenty of time
to do their work and not be rushed.
CHECK OUT
TIME IS 11:00 AM. We would appreciate it if you can leave on time so that
we can get the condo ready for the next family.

leave the condo the way you found it. If there is something that needs our attention,

The house
phone has local service only. For long distance calls, bring your calling card,
or use 1 800 CALL-ATT.
We provide
bath towels and all other linens for use in the house. We will also provide
beach towels. Please do not take the bath towels to the beach. Please do not
take any of the towels with you when you go home.
There is a
gas grill on the porch. If you use it, please leave it like you found it
- clean.
We hope
you will enjoy the condo and the island. We hope that you will come back
and visit Tybee every year.
